Want to Start a Coffee Party Chapter?

We are thrilled. However, we're going to use a more bottom-up 21st Century network-driven approach: We're asking people to begin by organizing Coffee Party EVENTS --as many as possible in local coffee houses. Our unit of geography right now is not city, county, or state. It's the individual Coffee Shop. We're asking people to be excellent at organizing their own coffee shops and asking their personal networks to do the same. Over the coming weeks, we will learn who are the most successful organizers (based on metrics, surveys, team play, interviews, etc) and develop a fair and transparent system of delegating responsibility over larger and larger regions. So if you're feeling really motivated, go organize 10 people to hold their own events on March 13 and support them to do that! Please read the Coffee Local Roles & Structure document for more info. To anyone who previously signed up to run a "Chapter" here, we appreciate your interest and understanding that we are currently operating through an events-based, rather than a chapter-based model. To people who are administrators of state and local Facebook pages, we are about to begin re-organizing these systems as well, but in the meantime, please keep up the good work and thank you for your patience as our systems and structure evolve to meet the needs of this rapidly expanding movement!
